The trick to playing comedy (and especially dark comedy bordering on farce) is playing everything absolutely straight and at pace. In spite of what might be described as some self-indulgence on the part of minor characters, New Stagers succeeded in this magnificently for the most part with some outstanding individual performances and clever use of less than ideal technical facilities.
