Charlotte Groombridge, you have written a mini masterpiece in your play ‘The King's Head’ - it was very entertaining. Taking us back in time to Prince Charles the second and focusing on one of his bastard children...which I never learnt about at school. It was a beautifully crafted piece of theatre and directed by Elliot Huxtable who made this piece a very engaging play. We want more of these newly written plays and performed to a high standard in Kent. Elliot your cast did you proud in their performances, those being, Queen Henrietta (Tessa Taylor), Prince Charles (Calum Harbottle), Lord Wilmot (Jerry Houseago), Lady Catherine (Leanne Lines), Lucy Walter (Heather Russel-Kay) and Lord Digby (Alex Rose). Although costumed in semi-modern dress, all donned something that depicted the period, even if it was just a necklace - a very nice touch. Fight Choreography (Duncan Woodruff) made one go ouch!! Splendid. Elliot and Charlotte, you gave us a beautifully crafted piece of theatre, I certainly want more of this. Well done to all involved.
