The Jungle Book Kids/High School Musical JR

The double bill of The Jungle Story Kids and High School Musical Jr obviously allowed you to involve everyone in your company in shows relevant to their ages. 

The first performance was The Jungle Story Kids.T he children had been well drilled with good entrances and exits. Well done to everyone, especially those with dialogue who had clearly learned their parts well and kept up the pace up well especially when working with the backing tracks. With a large supporting chorus of various animals this was a great opportunity for the young cast to sing and dance to the well known songs from the film as well as developing their stagecraft.    

The second performance was High School Musical Jr. Again, the cast had been well drilled with some clean entrances and exits Overall the cast, each of whom had been given a ‘name’, worked well together. With back projections allowing maximum space on the stage the cast performed all the big chorus numbers with energy and enthusiasm. I particularly  enjoyed the staging and performance of Status Quo.
