This quintessentially English play built around the quirks and norms of the upper classes as they were in Oscar Wilde’s time remains both charming and clever, weaving an intricate and unlikely plot into a real theatrical feast.

The pre-show reminder to turn off mobile phones was done in the style of the play adding to the feel of the evening.

An excellent and well cast group of performers really got into the parts being played.  Their accents were well used and their social status well underlined.
