This Dinner Theatre Murder Mystery played to a full house the evening I attend. A two Act Murder Mystery and a Pie Peas and Gravy supper, what else could be more tempting?.

There were three scenes in Act 1 and three scenes in Act 2 which included the culprit being revealed in the final scene. The cast was well chosen with each member being a suspect for committing the murder. There was an interval after scene 2 in the second Act when supper was served. The cast returned to the stage for questioning supervised by Detective Sam Nelson, ably played by Geoff Skelhorn. Each table had an opportunity to ask the cast one question only.

The final scene revealed the culprit, needless to say, our table fell short of the winner’s prize but I must say everyone who attended entered fully into the evening’s entertainment. The play was repeated the following evening with, of course a different ending.

Congratulations to Director Janet, Producer Margaret, the talented cast of ten players, crew, and all who provided and served the supper. A great evening which was fully appreciated by all who attended. Time passes quickly and I look forward to your Pantomime, ‘Aladdin’ in December.
