This innovative company of highly experienced performers brought a brand new musical to The Borough Theatre ,Abergavenny, The Great British Bake Off Musical.

.Based on the very popular TV programme, it is a take on the competition creative cake show, great to see a challenging musical and something completely different.

The leads showed the characters introducing the TV show Pru Leith and Paul Hollywood they were taken skilfully by Cecilia Bawler as Pam Lee and Andre-Paul Spring as Phil Hollinghurst, both were the real thing and gave fabulous performances.

Falesha Lewis once again excelled and as Kim, brought the part alive and great interaction with all on stage. Callum Stoneley-Bennett as Jim also played an excellent role.

Andrew Fowler as ever, a great clear voice and diction Andrew commands the stage with his valued experience as Dezza.

Amelia Davies as Lily showed great promise, a mature confident performance blending well with her cast members.

Molly Brickley Clark as Gemma, who really gave a moving acting performance, the emotion showing in her superb voice and in her amazing vocals a good duo with Stephen Seggie well played as Ben, her man.

This show had many highs as this cast all work together, lively moves and choreography and the GBBO talented Band kept the pace brilliantly.

Luke Palfrey as Hassan, Leighton Martin as Russell, and Merren Edwards as Babs and Emma Jayne Morris as Franchesca Emily John as Izzy all shone and all cameo roles.

Congratulations Cait Davies Creative Director and all the cast for staging a little known and totally new musical in Abergavenny.
