THE GONDOLIERS

There was so much to admire in this very excellent production by Batley G. & S. All the roles were played by some of the best and most experienced G. & S. performers in the local area and beyond. They all gave superb performances that were impossible to fault. I always enjoy Malcolm Parkinson (The Duke of Plaza-Toro) when he plays the strong character patter roles as his diction is always so good. The singing of both the principals and chorus was of a high standard as always . The orchestra was most tuneful, a joy to listen to, they did much to enhance this most enjoyable production.
