The Gingerbread Lady

Erith Playhouse produced a thoroughly enjoyable interpretation of what should more accurately be described as a drama by Neil Simon lightened with his hallmark one liners. A talented cast captured the essence of the piece, for the most part delivered at a pace which kept the audience on its toes but also dealing sympathetically with the difficult theme of alcoholism.
