Peter and Ruth have had a long and happy marriage. They both have their own interests – he loves listening to the cricket on the radio, she likes to travel. But all is not well. While listening to his cricket Ruth announces that she is leaving him, sold the house and going to live with her lover in sunny Bexhill-on-Sea. The new owners, Ray & Susan, move in only to discover they have a retired cricket-loving squatter who refuses to move out of their garden.

Peter a very relaxed and easy going character, was played by David Mitchell, Ruth the bored housewife played by Sheena Easton, a new member to the company. The new young home owners Ray, played by Josh Roberts also a new member to the company. Susan, played by Yvette Sayles. Paul Daniels playing cameo roles of the removal man and policeman

The cast were excellent in their roles and kept the characterisations up throughout the entire play and dealt well with different range of emotions.

The play was well directed, with a lot of thought gone into the characterisation

The Set was brilliant, and wonderful to see a play without curtains.

Congratulations to all the Cast for excellent performances, and the cast “Behind the scenes” for an excellent evening’s entertainment
