The Female Of The Species

Although not without its inconsistencies, this play still succeeds in highlighting issues and arguments around feminism which still remain unresolved nearly thirty years after its first production. This is in no small way due to the characters created by the author, effectively brought to light by a talented cast and choreographed by a director who knows what she is about. In spite of its wordiness, there were numerous laugh out loud moments in this really enjoyable Erith Playhouse production.
