A musical based on a depressed man alone in his flat who puts on a record and is transfixed doesn’t sound much of a premise but that was not the case.  From start to finish this was an excellent show full of pace energy and colour which gave a full house a night to remember. Musically brilliant and hysterically funny this was a good choice of show.

A strong and deliberate use of stereotypes and the conventions and razzmatazz of musicals in the 1920’s were woven into a whole that was both familiar and entertaining.
