The Beauty Queen of Leenane

Given that the play included some extremely disturbing elements, it would be inappropriate to describe it as entirely enjoyable but it was absolutely riveting. This was an extremely powerful piece of drama executed with assurance by a director who clearly knows what she is about, together with a strong cast of just four who did not put a foot wrong.
