This was my second outing to see this new musical and I was delighted to see such a talented young company performing it!

One has come to expect good things of Musicality and this show was no exception to that rule, in fact it was the best show I have seen them produce thus far!

The ensemble were delightfully creepy in good costumes and all sang very well indeed. Focus was constant and they were very believable.

I was most impressed by a number of the principal performances and mention must go to Stephanie Budski as the deathly Morticia, Emily Merchant as the decrepit Grandma, Elysia Coates and Robin Haley as Alice and Mal Beineke and Josh Thomas as their son Lucas, all of whom had great stage presence and excellent character portrayal. Ben Lang was excellent as Lurch who can often steal the show , even being almost mute!

The stars of the night for me were Zoe Way as Wednesday with excellent vocal ability and a beautifully dark performance, David Davies-Ribnicov as Gomez with each nuance being perfectly played, Joseph Kerrison as Pugsley with great comic timing and a good voice and Alexander Murphy who gave an outstanding performance as Uncle Fester. He shows fantastic vocal ability and carried the show as the ‘narrator’, with a wonderful rendition of his song to the Moon!

Very well done to all and I look forward to your next production!
