The Addams Family

From the moment the curtain went up one had the feeling this was going to be a great evening and the audience were not disappointed. The scenery and costumes were outstanding and set the mood for this creepy, kooky and fun show.

All the principals without exception were well cast and gave very good characterisations and there were some very strong vocals from the characters and chorus and in particular Gomez (Chris Webster), Morticia (Andrea Cross), Wednesday (Anya Bristow), Pugsley (Harry Spalding) and Uncle Fester (Nathan Kennedy).

I must congratulate the production team of Ian Walker (Director), Damian Bell (Musical Director), Jessica Mellows (Choreographer) and Joe Hodgkinson (Asst. Choregrapher) on creating artistically and musically such a great evenings entertainment. Everyone on-stage, back-stage and off-stage involved with Phoenix Theatre Company should be very proud of this production. It was a wonderful show and put a capital "A" into amateur theatre.
