The seven cast members were so right for this production that I got completely immersed in the play from the very beginning. Debut direction of this play was by Louise Spinola-Scott [congratulations]. Full marks for the set design, in what appeared to be a very small Stage props and costumes were authentic. Lighting effectively isolated each section of the stage.
Having not seen this play before I was somewhat intrigued to find out what this play would deliver, it turned out to be very endearing and poignant.
This was my first visit to a play performed by R.A.T.S and I was not disappointed. Good performances all round from a very talented cast, good comic timing and some lovely moments created. Congratulations to the entire cast and production team on a most enjoyable evening at the theatre.
If I have one criticism it would be that at points throughout the play some of the dialogue was very quiet, and we as an audience struggled to hear the full script.
This was quite a brave choice of play and I would urge you to continue to be bold in your choices and help to push boundaries in non professional theatre.
Thank you to your hospitality, I look forward to seeing you again.
