The 39 Steps

John Buchan’s classic novel of British daring filtered through the genius of Hitchcock and now reborn as a comedy thriller is a tale that stands up to constant retelling and this stage version had all the excitement of the previous outings but with a very iconic comic touch.

The four performers delivered a seemingly endless parade of distinctive and diverse characters to give the show both pace and depth as the tale of espionage and betrayal unfolded.  Their efforts gave all of us an unforgettable evening’s entertainment.
