The four actors that gave this energetic, fast paced and hilarious production of this wonderful play were on great form at Lopping Hall for the LADS latest show. Between them they presented the 130 characters with wild variety. This production not only gave the audience a laugh out loud evening but also allowed the thriller plot to carry the show through, which is a ripping yarn in itself.
There were many lovely moments from aeroplane chases, jumping through windows, draggers in backs and climbing on top of trains. This is a very challenging piece but was evidently in skilled hands. The 39 Steps gives an audience a splendid evening in the theatre and this sold-out production ended with a standing ovation. Bravo!
