This year Poole & Parkstone Productions have called their November concert 'That’s Snowbusiness', and what followed was a great start to the Christmas season.

Director's and Choreographer's Kellie Oxborrow & Dani Warner, have a great cast for this show, there is a great choice of songs and dancing numbers, from traditional to modern, so something for everyone. Lighting and sound is just right, costumes are bright, colourful and Christmas themed.

Musical Director Chris McDouall has a good sound with the band, and the singing and harmonies are great.

The show begins with 'That Christmas Morning' with the full company. Filled with energy and smiling faces making it a great start to the show.

The children's chorus followed with 'Holly Jolly Christmas' this was lovely and they all worked well together.

I really enjoyed 'The Ukrainian Bell Carol' it sounded incredible, with the harmonies and it was a great stand and sing number. Other favourites of mine included ‘That’s What Christmas Means to Me’ sung by four lead singers May, Jordan. Chris and Trae.. 'Somewhere Only We Know' sung by Becky, Claire, Hannah, Holly, Jordan & Sarah, was lovely.

Two fun numbers 'Kidnap Mr Sandy Claws' with Abby, Libby & Trae, and 'What's This' with Luke and the children's cast were also very good.

Act 1 finished with two songs from the children’s chorus, ‘It Feels Like Christmas’ and ‘We Need a Little Christmas’. Their voices blended splendidly, and showcased their song and dance moves.

Act 2 opened with a rock ‘n’ roll medley, with the whole cast, followed by the lovely ‘Christmas Lullaby’ sung by Dani, Clare and Leanne in a gorgeous three-part harmony, I liked the different green dresses. Another beautiful song that was just right was ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’, sung by May. ‘O Holy Night’ was another spine-tingling performance, with great harmonies.

A good couple of comedy numbers included ‘All I Want for Christmas’ by eight of the ladies, Abbie, Clare, Gail, Helen, Julie, Rachel, Sharon & Wendy, but instead of the Mariah Carey hit, a group of nuns sang ‘All I Want for Christmas is a One Night Stand’, this was a laugh out loud number especially when they stripped off their habits skirts to reveal sequin skirts!

My favourite comedy number however, was ‘Stay Another Day’, sung by Chris, Lewis, Luke, and Trae. Dressed in all-white outfits and perfectly executed boyband mannerisms, it was a clear audience favourite too.

White Christmas medley finished the show off complete with red & white costumes.

Well done to you all.
