This was, ostensibly, a compilation show, but with a story which gave it depth and gravitas. It was truly an ensemble piece with everyone contributing and wholly committed to the storyline. There was good sound and lighting operation and an excellent wardrobe department who costumed everyone so beautifully throughout.
There was always excellent interaction onstage during the production numbers and to include the entire company in the singing boosted the volume to a delicious rounded sound.
This was truly a company show with everyone ‘in the moment’ and interacting and reacting to the business onstage. I can honestly say that there was real involvement from everyone and lots of enjoyment……and smiles, especially from the dancers.
