Both Sweeney and Mrs Lovett worked well in their respective roles - a good pairing - particularly evident in ‘A Little Priest’.
The main ensemble demonstrated well-rehearsed entrances / exits while diction for both acting and singing was consistent throughout with balanced harmonies.
I particularly liked the hanging window, a homage no doubt to the film version.
A competent group of experienced main players produced a thoroughly chilling version of the show.
