A production by Argosy Children's Theatre (ACT) for just one night at their rehearsal rooms after difficulties with dates and available venues captured the essence of the stage version of Arthur Ransome's classic which was written for performance by adults, with the Argosy technical team providing superb technical support, and performances from the young cast exceeding all expectations - a feelgood moment to mirror the England World Cup run and the rescue of the young Thai footballers in the same week.
