SUMMER HOLIDAY

Summer Holiday is really just a vehicle to sing and act Cliff Richard's songs mainly from the sixties and seventies and is loved by all his adoring fans. Ossett Youth Theatre group gave us all a most enjoyable evening looking back into our younger days. The cast was good in all parts with some excellent singing and dancing from all the main principals. The two leading roles Don (Jordan Barker) and Barbara (Erin Haley) both gave outstanding performances in both singing and acting with a most attractive style. One feature of the show was the most enormous red bus that filled the entire stage which the cast used with great effect. The lighting was well organised but I did find the sound amplification too aggresive in the first half.
