When I walked through the entrance and was immediately given the impression that we were meant to enjoy ourselves and this is exactly what happened.

This was my first visit to this group, I had heard some very positive reports of previous productions and was not disappointed this time. The opening number from Sister Act looked and sounded excellent and promised an evening to remember and this was certainly the case. The programme which ranged from Moulin Rouge to The Lion King to mention just two was such a pleasant change from many compilations I have seen and I tried not to read the written programme so I could be pleasantly surprised at what came next.
The enthusiasm and talent of the group was evident all through the show and I was very impressed with Graeme Smith, Adam Lusher, Grace Robson and Lucy Smith.
I particularly liked the performance of ”The Boys” in the extract from Jersey Boys; this was the best choreography in the show.

Michelle Cuffe, Producer and Len Hampson, Musical Director, should be congratulated on a very enjoyable evening and it must give them great satisfaction in the evident improvement through rehearsals to opening night.

It was very obvious that a great deal of thought and work had been done with costumes and the overall effect was excellent.

I was disappointed in the sound balance and at times the lighting effects tended to distract from the performers. I think help should be given in the use of hand held microphones. If performers learn to use them correctly at their present age it will become second nature to them later in their careers.

The finale of the show when the whole cast sang “ Sing “ by Gary Barlow and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber was beautiful.

All in all, I had a splendid evening and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you so much for your very kind hospitality.
