What a brilliant evening! This show was fun from beginning to end and the smile never left my face. For those who remembered and loved Monty Python it was a great blast from the past and for those too young to remember it must have been a welcome introduction as King Arthur and his Knights set off in search of the Holy Grail.

We moved swiftly through many foreign countries encountering on the way a killer rabbit, the Lady of the Lake, the Knights who say Ni and many other weird and wonderful characters. Once again a very strong and versatile cast had been assembled and it was surprising to see , after watching the number of characters in the show, that there were actually only twenty members in the cast .It must have been exhausting for them with the number of costume and character changes. At this point I must say that the costumes were excellent with no expense spared.

The songs in the show are as amusing as the dialogue and there were wonderful renditions of 'The Song that Goes Like This ' and one of my favourites, 'Aways Look on the Bright Side of Life', along with many others. They were accompanied by a splendid orchestra and singing throughout was strong.

A good solid castle set with trees (very expensive ones) and a shrubbery (quite a small one) and a magic trap door all added to the fun. The lighting and sound were as effective as ever with thunder and lightning and othe 'wind effects'.

This show was non-stop fun and bursting at the seams with talent. You really felt that you wanted to go along the next night and see it all again just in case you had missed something, but I thinkyou might have struggled to get a seat.
