This production of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs was I felt much better than last year's panto now that they have come to terms with the limited staging facilities. The strong casting in all the roles led to a most likeable and enjoyable pantomime. Snow White (Tilly Hamlett) was a charming Principal Girl with some excellent acting and singing. Prince Charming (Alison Berry) was a very stylish Principal Boy singing and acting with supreme confidence. The Wicked Queen (Emma Jeffreys) was every inch the Wicked Queen so very frustrated with the magic mirror who tells her that Snow White is now the fairest in the land. Cody Warren (Muddles) so good to see this very young man doing such a good performance (it must be in the family genes!) Nick Wade (Dame Dumpling) really enjoyed this role giving a most likeable performance. Graeme Hemingway (Huntsman) and Niki Carter-Green (Fairy) complemented this very talented line of principals. The choreography by Katie Hoyle was arranged and performed by a very smart set of dances and the seven dwarfs were well trained with some fine singing and dancing. The choice of music was good but perhaps a little loud at times. The good stage sets and costumes did much to enhance this production.
