Blackadder II
Crowthorne Amateur Theatrical Society, Crowthorne Parish Hall
Arrow's home-written family-friendly panto cleverly overcame the time-lapses in the story and was well put over by their experienced cast, with the addition of one excellent new young principal and their best ever ten-strong juvenile chorus singing and dancing their hearts out. Assured comedy formed the basis in front of the artistically painted scenery with a surprising variety of lighting effects, and a delightful pantomime horse, dancing and commenting sardonically on proceedings in perfect synch with its amplified voice from backstage.
