The production team brought a wealth of experience to another superb panto. Under the direction of  Dean Verbeck, choreography by Melanie Sullivanan and musical direction by Robert Jenkins, it seemed all three elements worked in harmony brillliantly, producing a pacy, energetic show with a real sense of fun, everything a pantomime should be.

Playing to full houses this wonderful cast had the audience eating out of their hands from the outset. In the title role as Princess Rose,  Ania Davies was well suited and every bit the panto Heroine you would expect with great vocals and a lovely on stage relationship with her prince played by Rhys Powell. Rhys was confident and again, had super vocals bringing lots of strength to the role.

Greg Arthur is no stranger to "Pantoland", this year bringing his experience to the role of the baddy Maleficent. Greg played evil particularly well and probably gave the performance of the night for me.His singing at the close of the first half whilst being raised up from floor to roof was quite exceptional.

Once again Alan Williams played the Dame, deserving a special mention as this was his 41st production. He was extremely funny and had a wonderful relationship with the audience and everyone on stage - essential ingredients for any successful dame.

Sean Davies as Fetch and Wynne Seabourne as Carrie were ideally cast with the ability to get the audience going and keep them entertained throughout. Then of course the inimital Denys Jenkins  alias Denny Twp the founder member of this group entertained in only the way that he knows with  lots of humour, facial expressions and perfect timing.

Mark Rees as King Cactus and Debbie Garratt as Queen Marigold complimented one another as the some what dimwitted parents of their daughter Rose.

Daniel Difede as Fairy Blush brought a touch of glamour with her gentle nature, and was finally able to get the upper hand over the evil Maleficient.

The rest of the cast including the very diciplined dancers provided tons of energy and animation bringing the story to life performing well chosen and a great mix of songs - something for everyone.

Scenery and sets were brilliant, mixed with some great lighting effects  to create exactly the right ambience, Costumes, especially those worn in the finale were beautiful, making a real spectacle for the final number.

Congratulations once again on another brilliant production.
