Sleeping Beauty

Avenue Productions - you have a great youth group and they all try to please their audiences. In this ‘Sleeping Beauty’, their enthusiasm seeped out over the footlights into the auditorium.

All the cast playing multiple parts, they were all line perfect and coped with the backing tracks with ease, coming in on time. There had been thought to the casting by Jenny Butler director. She moved her cast around the small stage with clever directing of the youngsters.

A simple set, but effective. Dancing and movement by Abbie-Mae-King was carefully choreographed. Colourful costumes were in period, they were a joy, for such a small society.

The entire young cast served us a big plateful of young talent. Thank you Avenue Theatre Productions for inviting me, it’s always a pleasure to review your productions.
