Wow!! What a show, from the outset it was slick, bright and professional.

The principles were very well cast and each one shone in the role that they were given.

Deloris Van Cartier ( Alys le Moignan) a superb performance as was that of Cecilia Bawler as the Mother Superior. Sister Mary Robert (Molly Brickley Clark) and Sister Mary Patrick ( Chelsea Viveash) again great performances. There was not a weak link in this production but unfortunately I cannot name you all.

The scene where Sweaty Eddie (Patrick Calaghan) changes from Cop to John Travolta and back to cop was slick and very well done (the costume change was a scene stealer)

The gangsters Stephen Hopkins, Daniel Morgan, Luke Williams and Michael Davies, gave a great comedy moments with good timing, I loved “Lady in the Long Black Dress”

The whole ladies chorus pulled out all the stops and the choreography was well rehearsed and slick and even (dare I say it) the more mature members gave their all. I could not find mention of a choreographer in the programme but a very well done to whoever worked out the routines.

The scene changes were slick and unobtrusive, the singing from both soloists and chorus was something that the society should be very proud of, and the Costumes from Ace, which are always good, were outstanding.

This was a show I was privileged  to have seen and the Society should be justifiably proud of it.

Thank you yet again for your marvellous hospitality, and I hope to see you soon.
