The first Sister Act in this area was a winner, getting the style right and attracting enthusiastic full houses with a noticeable younger element. A great lead performance, sung with power and flexibility and acted with the confidence and attack, blasted us away and seemed to inspire the nuns as they gradually developed their soul singing and dancing (to well-judged choreography). Fine perfomances from Mother Superior and featured nuns, good comedy from the few men involved and wonderful technical support.
