Sister Act

This is a real winner of a show and Forest's production was of a very good standard. The music was excellent, the performances top drawer and the chorus was enthusiastic, tuneful and seemed to be having great fun, which was very infectious. The book contains some great lines, all well delivered and Forest got plenty of laughs; the lyrics are witty too. A simple set gave plenty of room to perform and the large chorus, whether nuns, the homeless or bar patrons, all moved really well using the space to great effect. Deloris Van Cartier and Mother Superior were both very good and the gangster trio were hilarious. Great costumes added so much to the success of the show.
