The staging of this space was just right for this production of Shrek the Musical Jr as it was on the floor and close to the audience who almost were part of the world of Duloc.,
The cast were fired up from their first entrance and all gave their best to this well known musical with so many fabulous songs from this rich score.
Effective scene with the three Princess Fionas and they were all so good with clear diction and each a personality of their own.
Four brilliant pigs really did take the stage by storm very well directed and their dances choreographed in unison by the talented choreographer Molly Brickley Clark with excellent stage craft and they were in character every second they were on stage... fabulous!!
Shrek that wonderful character, was excellent, Rhiannon Short brought out all the humour so well and Princess Fiona Darcey Keeble also showed her acting skills and great stage craft with this feisty performance!
A lively hilarious Donkey from Isabel Tyler. The Storytellers also kept up the pace and had clear diction.
Lord Farquaard, played so well by Carys Lewis saved her performance by coping with a faulty mike so well well done for showing such confidence in a difficult situation, playing an exceptional confident characterisation.,.
An outstanding Gingy from Bella Wyer loved the costume and the attitude! Every character played their part and the cast were so energised and gave fabulous vocals to the musical numbers.
All the audience showed their appreciation for this amazing performance of fun and colour
