From the minute we hear the first number ‘Big Bright Beautiful World’ we know we are in for a treat.

These youngsters gave their all to this energetic production .

Full of many lively characters and most of all plenty of fun! A simply great performance from Pinocchio by Jameson Gaitskill with an astonishing nose !

Opening with a little Shrek being moved on and sent to the swamp and meeting all the cast of this talented company.

Lyla Edwards as Shrek was excellent, great voice and movements sympathy for him as he is banished and then he meets Princess Fiona a lovely feisty performance from Phoebe Evans,

and great interaction with Shrek, they made a stunning pair. The Donkey, Paige Wiltshire made a fabulous entrance rolling around the stage, a very funny character..

The three storytellers Amelia Davies, Lucie Hall and Isabella Prosser were all clear voiced and professional in their delivery. Well done! All the cast parts were well performed and the Dragon was so spectacularly amazing from Amelie Breteau.

Oh to see a puppet perform and we had a brilliant one in Gingy the gingerbread man, Beatrix Gaitskill…. so original!!

A fantastic Lord Farquaard walked well and had good command of the stage, pity we saw the shoes !!

Once again cast diction was generally too quiet we need to hear the story, maybe voice coaching the company may help and more sound..

Backstage worked hard, well done The vocals were excellent. This is a fabulous score with good numbers which gave full scope to the dancers and cast and the choreography was brilliant from Molly Brickley Clark.

Happy endings with Shrek and Princess Fiona together and the cast raised the roof with I’m A Believer !!!!! Fabulous!

Thank you for your kind hospitality and welcome

All future success to you all.
