Based on the well-loved film, lightly adapted for the stage. The story has become familiar to children and parents alike.

Shrek played by Noah Richards-Taylor is rarely offstage, but Noah handled this with consummate ease and filled the stage with his presence.

Princess Fiona played by Nyah Perry did well with the comedy scenes, sang with great feeling. Her facial expressions were a delight.

Donkey played by Callie Gratton gave a great characterisation, a physically demanding part and facial reactions were entertaining.

Farquaad played by Dylan Hooper was suitably nasty. This character was very cleverly thought out and executed.

There were too many characters to mention them all by name but this clever script allows each person their own chance to shine.

The costumes were really well chosen adding such vibrancy to the stage, showing off the many many characters. The choreography was in keeping with the ability of the ensemble.

This was a most enjoyable show, very well presented and performed throughout.

Congratulations!
