This production was a joy to watch from start to finish with a very high standard of performances achieved by the entire company, their enthusiasm was just infectious throughout the show. The five main characters were all amazing Lulu Bradshaw (JoJo) opened the show in fine style oozing with confidence and assurance as did Tyler Warren (The Cat in the Hat) he never put a foot wrong far more mature than would seem possible in one so young. Alex Saine-Cawthra (Horton the Elephant) this is a very big role with lots of lib to perform his singing and acting was brilliant so very talented. Abigail Welburn (Mayzie La Bird) this is a very striking role to play which Abigail made the most of with some fine acting singing and dancing. Lucy Chapman (Gertrude McFuzz) this was a superb brilliant performance absolutely five star quality I could not take my eyes off her! I hope to see more performance from her in the future. Libby Phillips (Sour Kangaroo) The Wickersham Brothers and The Bird Girls all gave contributions that greatly enhanced this very fine production. The colourful set and excellent costumes along with good sound and lighting added greatly to a most enjoyable evening. Congratulations to Emma and Katie your coaching was richly rewarded by this excellent cast.
