Given that the show was cast just one month before it opened and produced in just six scheduled rehearsals (including Technical and Dress) a remarkable standard was achieved. The audience was clearly well up for the evening’s entertainment, completely entering into the spirit of the piece and joining in with choreographed moves when the occasion arose. This was assisted in no small part by presentation in the round with the audience seated at tables, cabaret style. There were some fine individual performances along with solid company work by a cast which appeared to be having as much fun as the audience.
