A first for Abergavenny, this spectacular Rumpelstiltskin magical pantomime. Marvellous lighting effects, lighting design courtesy of Stephen Clark also Producer, and Yoan Wynne thanks to him for sterling service to APC
Molly Brickley Clark as Prince Opal and Chelsea Viveash as Ruby gave fabulous performances.
Zac Williams in the title role, Rumplestiltskin, a scene stealer, one to watch giving a polished, confident performance with stage craft skills far beyond his years.
Ken Jones holds everything together and as Dame Knick Knack gave us his own very special performance his rich voice raising the rafters bringing laughter and fun with all the gang, Sgt Shinybrass, Stephen Clark, as hilarious as ever with Captain Cooper, Alex Williams Mr Carbuncle, Joe Pugh, both talented young men.
King of Kings Peter Holder as King Jade, well he is just outstanding, timing spot on no one does it better!! Lovely Andrew Marfell as Coral and Zach Clee as Spangle had super rapport A dazzling performance by Louise Morgan Tinsel the Cat certainly a showstopper! Their adorable cow Milkshake Catrin Williams and Olivia Parkin danced well, not easy either!
A brilliant choice of musical numbers for this production well done M.D. Jaci, more groups than rows of ensemble in the big numbers would add interest and this long pantomime over time. The APC Chorus was fantastic. Many congratulations on your Noda Timmins Trophy for 2nd in the UK in the Poster Competition and Programme Winner 2013
Always great fun for Abergavenny half term. Congratulations to all!
