The classic Gilbert and Sullivan masterpiece but set in the England of World War Two. This slightly quirky idea allowed us to see Dad’s Army complete with the ARP warden whilst retaining all the polish and craft of the original. An exceptional cast sang and performed well in what was the final show before the Buxton Festival where the group won four awards at its first appearance last year.
