What a lovely setting for ‘Romeo and Juliet’ Tyler Hill House is. It's perfect on a nice sunny day, as my visit was. John Moss Director gave this Romeo a good feeling, and directed his players to a high standard, I heard every word - a rarity nowadays. They were all word perfect, moved around the area swiftly so this made this Romeo flow nicely. Costumes were adequate, a simple but effective balcony set (Michael Groombridge) with just a few moveable props, all moved by the cast. Great. The cast as a group all worked together and included, Harry Buckner, Paul Milton, Lyne Perry, Louise Groarke, Nic Yanni, John Anderson, Adam DeVenny, Harry Stemple, Rachel Hasbury, Alex Rose, Leanne Lines, Michael Gould, and of course Boo, who was very well behaved. The weather held out, and it was a pity the audience wasn’t as big as it should have been for this very nicely put together Romeo. There was lots of chatter about how well the afternoon went, and I agree, a very enjoyable afternoon at Tyler Hill House. Thank you.
