Rock of Ages

A juke box musical using Heavy Metal rock sounds an interesting concept and marks a slight change of direction for the group and one that givens them the chance to stretch their creative repertoire in musical theatre.  The songs of Whitesnake, Starship, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Joan Jet etc, whilst not everyone’s favourite musical style were carefully woven together too give a real feel of the time and were delivered well by Bromley.  The pre show announcements to turn off phones not only met the requirements of the rights holders but also signalled the show was about to begin.

With big production numbers at the end of both acts the cast excelled themselves whilst clearly throwing themselves into their performance.
