There is always so much to admire in this societies pantomime with strong casting from a very large set of principals, chorus and dancers. Robinson Crusoe (Sarah Roberts Principal Boy) and Juanita (Rachel Perry Captain's daughter) both sung and acted in a most enjoyable style. Margarita (Eric Arundell The Dame) is the rock of this society still one of the best dames in the area after over 30 performances. Nutty Nick (Chris Littler-Moore Margarita's daft son) was outstanding as usual in this type of role so wonderfully confident and enjoyable. I must also mention Friday (Adam Lovell) a most enjoyable performance in this small role displaying a fine singing voice. All the remaining principals were up to the usual fine standard. The chorus dancers and the sunbeams were well organised and sung the well known numbers in fine style. I must say I was most impressed with the scenery it is good to see lovely painted cloths and flats designed in lovely old world panto style along with the fantastic costumes and excellent music from the trio under David Hookham's direction gave us all a most enjoyable evenings entertainment.
