This was a really good pantomime. Oh yes it was, with a very good script that the very strong cast embelished with great enthusiasm. The programme gives all the cast star ratings that was very true but I must make mention of a few. Amanda Marsden (Principal Boy) and Olivia Griffin (Principal Girl) both sung and acted with great charm and confidence that set the tone for the whole cast. Adam Schewtschuk-Hoyle was a brilliant Dame carrying on the great tradition of Dames this society has had since 2005 - no mean feat. Gareth Jones (Billy Crusoe) was a bundle of fun bringing much comedy to the production as did Chris Hall & Lisa Cockroft (Willy Ollerby & Ollie Willerby) as they supported Alan Sykes (Squire Seasalt) who gave a fine performance with a very funny stuttering style. The other six principals were all of the same high standard and did much to enhance this excellent production as did the very colourful sets and costumes. The choreography was very good being performed by a most charming set of dancers. This was a most enjoyable pantomime.
