A great night of fabulous entertainment took the Borough Theatre by storm as the excellent opening pyrotechnic light show set us all in the mood for the APC pantomime of the year!
The excitement was tangible as the children all with light sticks waving and their Robin Hood hats on, cheered as the very well choreographed number for all the company by Cait Davies burst on to the stage.
Then the pantomime stars came out a fabulous performance by Emma Jayne Morris The Fairy who told us all about the story, yet she was adorable and mixed up the pantos!!! A simply outstanding way of reacting with the audience throughout the whole performance, this was an important role to play keeping the pace, and Emma was so professional
Joe Pugh always a quality performer as Dangerous Dave Knave was a Baddie, a great part and he is so good at throwing himself all over the stage!
Snowy Clark was side splittingly funny as Nurse Molly Coddle I have never seen or heard Snowy so full of fun he was hilarious!
Then we had Maid Marion, Molly Brickley- Clark singing fabulously and Cait Davies as Robin Hood, both played very good parts with great interaction with the audience and both had wonderful golden voices.
Then we had two adorable babes who sang like angels well done Amelia Davies Pippa and Lucie Hall, Penny, both gave strong and feisty characters.
We all love the Big Baddie and this one was so brilliant at being bad. A fabulous performance from John Bryan as The Sheriff of Nottingham.
Other parts well played were Friar Tuck an amusing Andrew Marfell, Geraint Webb made a fabulous Will Scarlet his experienced stage presence we had missed, such an experienced performer.
Block Rachael Beck with fantastic expressions and Tackle Tristan Williams always a great performer. The whole Chorus was energised in their excellent dancing including a tiny dancer Isabel Davies who stole the show, and all were fabulously enthusiastic!
No doubt this pantomime well done Director Jackie, brought us all a brilliant evening of comedy, laughter, fabulous singing and dancing, it was as amazing as ever!
See you next year and thank you for your kind welcome and hospitality.
