This small theatre hosted a small audience to a super, varied evening of entertainment. The show opened with a colourful performance of ‘Rhythm of Life’. Keira Pugh made the  choreography interesting throughout and it was well rehearsed. We enjoyed listening to a talented cast and there were opportunities for many of them to perform solos and duets, as well as ensemble numbers, and they were all given a chance at the front of the group, deservedly so.

It was nice to have the variety when Ben Woodfine-Jones treated us to an excellent rendition of ‘I wish I was Sammy’ from Blood Brothers. Megan Currie gave a tender rendition of ‘Castle On a Cloud’.

Owen Roberts, musical director, was in view of everyone and appeared to give confidence to all. The choice of music was successful and gave us all a mix of sound and emotions. Peter Nunn is justly proud of his first role as director, made easier because of the overall talent of the members of the society with a wide range of ages.
