RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET

I am sure the cast will forgive me if I start this review about the brilliant stage set it was fantastic it had flashing lights and control boards all over the stage just as you would expect to find in a space ship a wonderful first impression for the show. The story of the show is a bit thin in content but does have many well known classical rock 'n' roll and pop numbers in its make such as 'The Monster Mash' 'Great Balls of Fire' 'Good Vibrations' and 'Wipe Out'.  I thought the casting in all the main principal roles was of the highest quality with all numbers performed to a very high standard and I thought the 'Shout' number near the end of the show could not have been bettered by Lulu herself! The orchestra was a little strong in places but made a great sound and enhanced this excellent production.
