What can I say about this performance, from the moment the open stage filled with cast to the final walk down we were treated to a fantastic show. This story can be hard to follow at times but this production enabled us to follow everything.
Roger Davies (Jack Green) and Mimi Marquez (Hannah Webley) gave everything we wanted and their solo/duet numbers were superb. Angel (Cain Thomas) and Tom Collins (Nathan Roberts) gave us strong, yet sensitive performances and showed maturity and great understanding of their roles.
Reading the Bio’s I can see that we have a lot of experienced performers and it showed. There was not one “weak Link” in this production, but it is not all about the lead roles, the chorus also play an important role in any musical. This chorus was well rehearsed in both music and movement, but I think they have a hard task master in Hannah, well she may be hard but it certainly paid off. Chorus, you all performed well throughout the show, singing well and acting all the time. Well done to all of you.
Chorography was, as always fast, and innovative, and the set, and the lighting were atmospheric. I enjoyed every minute of this production and eagerly await your next production.
