The SEDOS 2016 season continues to explore new ground with this off beat musical which was very different, fascinating and extremely well produced. Based in the 1930’s though not really period specific it explores the universal theme of corrupting influences on the young in this case through drug abuse. With tongue firmly in cheek and a plethora of recognisable stereotypes it held the audience in strange fascination throughout and prompted a rapturous curtain call.
Unencumbered by preconception this was not only a new experience but also a real treat for an audience who certainly get their monies worth.
Well cast principals and a fantastic chorus all worked together and delivered a great show
