Puss in Boots is possibly one of the lesser known pantomimes we see presented!

Debbie Apollonio – Polly Patchem - oozed charm as she guided us through the story.

Harri Herniman – Ogre Ken –  relished the role of the baddie and oozed menacing qualities with his powerful and resonant tone.

Emma Dennett – Grimelda – made the most of this part as the baddies assistant and received some well deserved boos!

Chloe Welsh – Arthur – was very likeable and able to get the audience on side and looked as if she enjoyed every minute of playing this character,

Sally Mathias – Dealer & Penni Carr – Wheeler – made a good double act, bouncing off each other well and gave us the slapstick part of the show.

Rob Jenkins – King Bumble – was ideal as this character, good accent, good diction, strong performance.

Nigel Crick – Queen Bee – gave a good performance having good interaction with the audience.

Abbie Prothero – Princess Honey – looked the part, displaying good timing and a nice rapport with the audience.

Layren Farnham – Puss [in boots] – gave a mature , confident interpretation and completely  held the stage at every appearance.

One of the best things about amateur pantomimes is to experience just what can be achieved with teamwork, and to witness how the young and old in the cast can support one another and learn from each other, and this was certainly in evidence in this production.

The staging, lighting and costuming were all excellent and complemented the production to great effect.
