The cast for the second of this group's productions consisted of almost 30 children (some were debutants) from the age of 6 to 14 and there was a good deal of talent on display.  The show was compiled to include modern numbers and items from a lot of well-known shows including Annie, which opened the show, The Sound of Music (Do-Re-Mi and My Favourite Things), Hairspray and a cockney medley of My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins and 'Oliver' songs and it wasn’t just children’s items that were performed.  There were even tributes to the Spice Girls and Michael Jackson.

Mainly performed to tracks, most of the numbers were choreographed, some in quite an adult way, and this showed off the performers’ ability to sing and move at the same time.

The cast was very close to the audience with several items being in front of the curtains and this made for some really gutsy performances, although it would be wrong in a show like this to single any one out in particular.  I would have liked to have seen a few more smiles and I felt that some of the diction and pronunciation should have been a little better – it’s best to start young.

However this did not detract from what was a very good show which thoroughly entertained a capacity audience.
