Pride and Prejudice

This World Premiere written by two American ladies (both in Ruislip for the run) presented opportunities with its fine music and witty dialogue, well taken by the talented cast, and challenges to the ingenuity of their award-winning designer, overcome by brilliant scenery folding out from the forestage (although the necessity of two hired backcloths rules out another nomination). Future productions will need revisions to help scenery and principals’ costume changes, though the results were always worth waiting for. An amazing experience!
